The little things

You know what, the little things in life are really the big things !! My husband leaving a love note in my coffee cup so I will be surprised in the morning, my kid's coloring me a picture that says you are the best mom in the whole world. Those are really small things that have a huge impact on my day. However, on the flip side of that, one little word or action can lead to huge problems as well.
Those little things left un-dealt with or swept under the rug can eventually cause huge repercussions in relationships. I personally refuse to let the little things in life good or bad pass me by. When you love someone the little things ARE the big things.

Here are some of my favorite little things and my not so favorite little things

Good-
Finding a love note in my coffee cup
Waking up to freshly brewed coffee compliments of my thoughtful husband
a picture colored by my kids
a clean house
when I tell my kid's to do something and they actually say Ok and then actually DO what I asked them
New scrap supplies
cuddling on the couch watching a movie with my hubby
kissing my kid's on their sweet sleeping faces
Hearing from a friend, and knowing that they were thinking of you


Not so much-
Hypocrites
presumptuous people
Selfishness
unwanted or unwarranted advice
whining
back talk
