WOW, I can't believe we only have 4 weeks left before my kids go back to school! It feels like I was just thinking how in the world am I going to make it through this whole summer with these two ? What am I going to do with them all summer to keep them entertained ... well now I am thinking... STOP we have so many things we wanted to do yet !!!! But time doesn't stand still for anyone, including me, darn it.
I am excited to say I applied for a job.. A REAL JOB !!! I haven't had one of those in over 5 years, I am kind of afraid !!!! LOL Land's End has a headquarters about 30 miles from here and my sister has worked there and currently my niece works there, so I thought why not and the discount isn't to shabby either.. 40% off ??? not to bad.,. We could certainly use the extra money over the holidays. So we shall see. I am hoping and praying I get this job !!!
It has been a real scorcher around here this week. I am so tired, I don't know if it's from the heat or what, but I feel like I could just sleep all day. I went to bed the other night at 10pm ( very early for me) and I didn't wake up until 8am (very late for me) and I felt as though I hadn't slept a wink all night! What the heck ? I heard the weather should be breaking tonight sometime and I am hoping that's the case. We have had hardly any rainfall at all this summer... my plants are looking as if they haven't seen much rain too.
Well, I got my MMM entry sent out ! Now the nail biting begins. Luckily, I procrastinated long enough that I won't have that long of a wait. I didn't enter last year so I am looking forward to the big hype and all the excitement surrounding the calls and announcements this year! I am so excited to see who wins this year I can hardly stand it.
Here are some new layouts that I have been working on. And a few new photos of the last couple days. My son Zach, My daughter Chloe and my niece and her sons Cameron and Dawson and my mom with Chloe and Cameron.
Thanks for visiting me here :) Leave a comment, I would love to hear from you!
